Miss Teen of Missouri Pageant
Donation protected
I just wanted to thank everyone for all of their love and support. All the donations I have received are appreciated more than you could imagine. As many of you know, I'm a huge dreamer. I have such huge goals and dreams for the future and it all starts here. I'll begin my senior year of high school in August. In May of 2017, I will have completed 64 credit hours and earned my AA degree, and also earned the credits to receive my high school diploma. I am so humbled by the amount of support I've received on my journey and I can't thank those of you who have put time and faith into my success enough. But, I want to thank my parents most of all. My parents have shaped and molded me into who I am. They've put so much money and time into helping pave my path through life. They've paid for numerous college classes, ACT tests, sports that I didn't end up sticking with, and now will help me pay for the pageant if we don't reach our goal. I am so very thankful to have such a great support system.
Let me share with you a few reasons why I want to do this pageant. The pageant caught my eye when I received a piece of mail that said I was invited to be a part of the pageant. I started researching and making sure that it wasn't a hoax, and then when reading the information I decided that it was something I wanted to do. If i win the state title, I receive a $250 award to be used for a Special Olympics inclusion event at my school. I will also receive a $1000 cash scholarship along with and an all expense paid trip to Minneapolis, Minnesota in November 2016 to compete for the national title.
As many of you know, I love helping people. It is one of the huge reasons that I chose Physical Therapy as my career choice. To win this pageant would mean getting a chance to speak with other girls my age about why you should reach for the stars and to motivate them to always be kind, to love learning, and to help them have the drive to reach their full potential.
I greatly appreciate all the love and support you all have shown me. I have less than one month left to meet my goal. All money is due July 8th and I will participate in the pageant July 29-31. Please help me meet my goal!
