The Last Trip

My husband's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. She lives in California and we live in South Carolina. This will cover her trip, gas, hotel stay, getting her household items & furniture here and the plane ticket for the person bringing her so they can get back home to California. She has undergone several surgeries including a mastectomy (for those that do not know it means her breasts have been completely removed). She has lost hair due to treatments. She is currently taking several medications, going through chemotherapy and radiation and her cancer has gotten into her uterus and her lymph nodes. My husband hasn't seen his mom in 7 years and she has never seen her grandson outside of pictures I send her via mail or mms (phone). Pictured above is my son (her grandson). His name is Liam. He is the sweetest, most angelic baby you could ever meet. He has a wonderful personality and somehow his sweet face always brings people together. So, I'm hoping he can bring people together here and help us raise the funds we need to get "grandma" to South Carolina so she can be properly cared for. She goes through so much....always gives....never takes. Her mother has recently passed (a few weeks ago) and she has been taking care of so much. She lives a very stressful life for her condition. It's time for someone to take care of this wonderful woman and give back to her. I am a tarantula hobbyist and I am currently offering my entire collection for sale to also contribute to getting her here. I want my husband and son to spend time with her. Time that's much needed. I feel she will be at peace once she is here with us. Time is of the "essence"and I'm just trying to "buy" time for this one...last....trip. Thank you all and God Bless!
