Margaret Thompson's Flood Recovery
Donation protected
I am Barbara Gaddy, my sister, Margaret Thompson has lost everything due to flooding in Baton Rouge. She was an advid quilter and seamstress. She recently retired to start a home business of making and selling quilts along with embroidery. She had the top of the line quilting machine, embroidery machine and a host of sewing machines. A boat load of fabrics, threads, books, and equipment such as irons, cricut, etc. She spent years gathering and accumulating the items she needed to be the best at what she created. She also had countless quilts stacked on her guest bed and stored in her bathroom as well. There was not a space left unattended.
Now they are all gone along with her household items. I realize she is not the only one that has lost her home but I know she would greatly appreciate any help you can give.
