Pray for a full recovery for Carlos

On a regular Thursday night, August 18th 2016, my cousin was walking home and was hit head on by a vehicle, three houses down from where he lives. Just a few days before his oldest son's birthday. He was minding his business and was wearing bright clothing, white shirt, and was on the side of the road. Unfortunately, this neighborhood does not have any sidewalks for pedestrians and not enough street lighting. This is a scary thought when you imagine any of your loved ones walking through there where vehicles just fly by with no care in the world. Some people, like my cousin, do not own a vehicle and their only way of transportation are their feet. They shouldn't have to worry about this horrific tragedy happening to them when they are doing nothing wrong. He landed in a ditch when he was hit into water as it was raining that night. Thank goodness for a good samaritan who saved him by turning him over and giving him CPR right away and was able to revive him. My cousin is fighting for his life in ICU right now. He is currently on life support. His lung is damaged, has a severe head and neck injury, broken ribs, and it just goes on. Seeing these words written makes everything from that night come to life again and makes me believe that it is not his time because this was something that not many survive. Please help support our family as my cousin does not have any health insurance and his injuries are very severe and demand extreme medical attention.  We  are also working on petitioning for sidewalks to be put in this neighborhood.
