Eswin Vasquez was a godly man recently taken from his family.
Early Saturday morning, he was on his way to church when his tire went flat. He called his step son, Carlos, to come and assist. When his step son arrived, he parked behind and put on his hazard lights. Carlos was walking towards the van to assist when a Chevy Malibu crossed over the white line and sideswiped Eswin, killing him on impact.
The driver did not stop and still has not been found.
Eswin worked a roofing job to provide for his family. Some days he worked from 7:00am in the morning until 9:00pm at night. He leaves behind his wife, Mirna, who is a stay at home mother that watches children for other family members. She also cooked meals for her husband and his company members to take during the long work days.
She has no other means of income to pay for her apartment and two children, Josue and Aron. She was also blindsided with this unfortunate event and is not ready to pay for a funeral.
We, family members and her church community, are asking for prayer and assistance of at least $5000 to cover both funeral costs and to provide for this hurting family as they try to recover from such a tragic loss.
Please.
We would love to surprise them with whatever financial assistance possible in a time where they do not have many answers. If you cannot financially, please offer a prayer, good thoughts or Share this GoFundMe story with your friends to help Mirna and her two children.
