Hello everyone, I would like to introduce you to my daughter Mackenzie Stone. She is a beautful, brave and courageous 10 year old little girl, with Cerebral Palsy. She has had a long journey so far, many trips to and from the childrens hospital in St. John's and in Montreal. Many surgeries and many hours of therapy to get where she is today. And now she has begin another journey.
She had another major surgery, which is call Proximal Femur derotion Osteotomy. Which means that they have cut her femur bone near the hip and rotated her bone, and secure in place with plates and pins. She will have to be in a wheelchair for 6-8 weeks and not be able to weight bare. She will have a long road ahead recovering and then lots of therapy. This means more trips to the childrens hosptial in St. John's for an extended period of time for her therapy.
Please help us share in her journey and milestones, to anyone who wishes to help we thank you so much in advance. God bless you all and please keep her in your prayers.
