Kicking Cancer's Butt

Many of you know our mother, Debra Williams. Those around her know her as compassionate, loving, big-hearted, creative and selfless, she is a light to everyone around her. She dedicates her professional life to loving God and loving people as being a Pastor of a Church and also working for a non-profit that serves families and children experiencing homelessness. Our mom and dad also work together to helps at-risk kids attend college.

This past May, our Mom was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer and had to have a large mass surgically removed from her fallopian tube. We are glad to report that the surgery went well and she is now in recovery! Through this process, we have been amazed by the strength of her spirit. We were all terrified when we heard our Mom had cancer, but she has been so positive and has rested on her faith throughout this entire process. Even through this difficult time, she has been the rock of our family.

Now, it is time for us to be there for her. Our whole family has been working hard, but the medical bills continue to pile up. Mom is currently on disability and there are still more treatments, much of which is not covered by insurance. My mom has always served the community around her, and now we are reaching out to our community for help. Please consider supporting our family during this difficult time. No amount is too small, and every dollar helps.
