My PCT Trip

Hello Everybody,
My name is Malcolm Gossett and I plan to embark on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), a 2,650 mile thru-hike starting on the Mexico-California border and ending in Manning Park in Canada near the U.S. border.

This adventure has been a dream of mine for two years now. I see it as an opportunity to take a break and step back from the world of high school and colleges and the everlooming subject of majors and minors and other life choices. I am searching for perspective that I only seem to find on the trail deep in the valleys and mountains of the wild.

I'd mainly use the funds to send resupply boxes containing food and acquire necessary gear for the long trek. See budget below.

I plan, with the support of my school, to begin in April of next year and finish before Spring semester of my freshman year of college.

I am grateful to the people who have lead me to this point and those of you who help me in future.
