One People Paddle to Standing Rock

Alaskan Canoe Family, "One People Canoe Society" stands in solidarity with the Standing Rock Sioux tribe! Doug Chilton of Juneau, Alaska founder/President of the "One People Canoe Society" has heard the call from our Standing Rock Sioux brothers and sisters and is underway with 6 other members, the Raven Canoe, and Central Council Tlingit & Haida's tribal flag.
They will be joining other tribes across the nation on a historic pull down the Missouri River on Sept. 7,8 & 9, 2016 to support the Standing Rock Sioux tribe in opposition of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

It is an honor to have the opportunity to have our Alaskan Brothers and Sister representing our People. The money raised will help with their travel cost, gas, food, and any expenditure needed to support these efforts to Stand as One to save our sacred land and water!!
