Richie Frey

There are those people who just always seem to have a smile on their face and way of making you feel better about your day when you see them.  When I watch Richie Frey with his family and friends I think of him as one of those people. Seeing him on the softball field has brought smiles and high fives but lately it's for a different reason. Rich was diagnosed with Hodgekins Lymphoma disease in June of this year. This is a cancer of the the immune system affecting lymph nodes and white blood cell counts.
Since June, Rich has had  surgeries and has begun to recieve  chemo treatements. He is currently half way through the six month chemo process .
For those of who do not know, Rich moved back up to Somers with his wife, Alexis his twin boys Nicholas and Christopher and his daughter Emily.
Living in Lincolndale, in the house he grew up in, they are all helping  his mother since his father passed. Through it all Rich always has a smile on his face and makes sure that his smile spreads throughout his family.
Having seen firsthand what it takes to support a spouse, a parent, a family member and friends going through this process we know that the less stress and more support that can be done will aid in the recovery.
Setting up this page is my way of reaching out to our friends and family to try and alleviate some of that stress by raising the funds needed to pay for what insurance has not covered throughout this ordeal.We thank you all for any support that you can offer, no matter how small.
