Kellerman House Fire Relief

It started off as a normal day for the Kellerman family: waking up enjoying a cup of coffee, eating breakfast, feeding the pets, seeing their younger son Alex off to Siuslaw High School and Marcy off to work where she works very hard at Honeyman State Park. This was the last “Normal Day” that was ever to leave that home. To Marcy’s horror she was called at work with the terrible news that her home was burning down. Marcy’s mind was racing as she drove home, what was she going to face, will she see her husband, older son Andrew, and pets again? The anxiety and “what if’s” were so intense that the drive home is a complete blur.Nearing her home as she rounded the corner she found her street had been shut down as she let the fire department know who she was they allowed her to enter her street. Marcy, now standing in disbelief and shock helplessly watches her home engulfed in flames. While trying to wrap her mind around all that is going on she is also relieved and grateful to find that her family had escaped minus a few minor injuries. The house was a complete loss including all of the family's belongings except for a few treasures that the fire department was able to save: photo albums and a jewelry box given to Marcy by her late father.

The Kellerman Family will need to heal both physically and emotionally from this tragic event. They will need to replace everything great and small from toiletries to furniture this will be an overwhelming and emotional process let us rally around this kindhearted family and help them by bringing relief financially. If each person gives just a little we all together can make a huge impact both financially and emotionally for this family.
