My name is Christopher Boyle. I'm the Division Disaster Director for the American Red Cross in AK, OR, and WA.
Many of you know our friend and long-time volunteer Steve Taylor. I'm sad to report that Steve was in a serious motorcycle accident last night and has been hospitalized. He is now in an induced coma with multiple broken bones. At this time, I do not know how long he will be hospitalized.
We have already made arrangements for two of Steve's children to come to Seattle from Pennsylvania to be with him. Our ask of you is to help provide for the family while they are here and share the cost of the flights. Our goal is to raise $5,000 as quickly as possible so the family can focus on Steve.
If you know Steve, you know he is a selfless man who loved nothing more than helping others through the American Red Cross. Now Steve is in need - let's return the many favors. Below you will find a photo of an article honoring Steve during the WA Wildfires in 2015.
