Wesley's Family Fund

Wesley E. White is the best father anyone could ever ask for.

My father was only 47 years old when he unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, September 4th, 2016 from a massive heart attack while at work in the city of Chicago, Illinois. He was a father of 4 daughters and a loving husband to my mother, Tracie.

I cannot begin to put into words the shock and pain that our family and loved ones feel as a result of losing him.

Unfortunately, along with the emotional pain that our family is suffering, we are quickly feeling the effects our financial devastation that has been accompanied by our dads passing.

My dad was and always will be one of the most hard working men you would ever meet and quite literally irreplacable with his job. With that being said, he was the main source of income for our family and literally worked himself to death.

I'm having the most difficult time writing anything to even begin to describe the devastation we are feeling in our hearts; it feels like there is a hole in our universe without him here. He was my best friend and everyone's best friend.

I don't even know where to begin other than reaching out to those out there who have a generous amount of love and compassion for life's unexpected turns.

It is now only my younger sister and my mom living at home; the home we now find comfort in because my dad still feels like he should still be there, but yet feels so empty because as it turns out, this is not a bad dream like I hoped it would be.

My mother has a brain tumor and aside from that, getting regular check ups for my dad was not on the top of his to-do list because he ALWAYS put his family before himself and this is what happens.

Due to my father being so young, we as a family were neither mentally nor emotionally prepared for this, but we were not prepared financially either.
My dad worked paycheck to paycheck to make the bills work so we could get by. He did not have life insurance or anything close to being prepared for this.

Any money raised will go directly to keeping up with our rent for the house we've lived in for over 17 years.
It kills me to ask for help and I'd hate to word this in a way to give the impression that we are not trying everything in our power to do what we can on our ends to keep my dads legacy going and keeping the home we made memories in; it is all we have left of him now.  Everyone who has met any member of our family, especially my dad, knows that we aren't the type to ask for help even in the most drastic circumstances. Setting up this Go Fund Me account is one of our last resorts to receive any additional help to ease this painful transition.

I am beyond grateful for the overwhelming love and support my family has received thus far since dad has passed away, and I will be forever grateful for any help that we recieve.

I just wanted to say, from my heart, for those of you who take the time to read this and give what you can, on behalf of myself, my family and my dad- thank you and I love you. <3
