The Gikas Family



Dina Gikas was diagnosed with optical cancer a couple of years ago. She had surgery on her eye and treatment for the cancer. Although the treatment was successful, there was a small chance that the cancer could metastasis to her liver. Earlier this year, Dina found out that the cancer had metastasis to her liver. Dina has been going to Boston for treatment ever since. In July Dina found out that the current treatment wasn't working they way the doctors wanted and started a new treatment. Dina has been traveling back and forth to Boston and is currently at Mass General.  

Even with insurance, Dina's medical costs are quite hefty, and any help would truly be appreciated. 

The Gikas family is an active family in the Saco community. They have done so much for the football program, the church, the schools and for all their friends over the years; we feel it is our time to help them.

Dina is one of the most caring and thoughtful person we know, and she would never ask for help. So, we are asking for her. We truly thank you for any help you can give, it will be recieved with love and emotion.
