Veazey House Repair Fund

Hi Everyone, My Name is Megan Williams. My Parents are Tim and Kathy Veazey. We have had a hard few years between the three of us. My dad is a pastor and has been since the day i was born 27 years ago. My mother is disabled and unable to work. I am recently divorced from my husband because he had a drug addiction problem. I did however, get a beautiful son out of the situation. His name is Charles and he was born on June 25th, of 2016.

Because of the divorce I've had to move back in with my parents, because being a working, single mom...well..its hard to do alone. My parents are wonderful and supportive and didnt hesitate in taking my son and me in. Now i would like to give back.
 My parents are about 2 years away from paying off their first home. They have never been home oweners, but its been a dream of theirs since they were first married over 30 years ago.  Unfortuantley the house they are buying is falling apart and the company they are buying from refuses to do anything to help them.
My son will be learning to crawl soon, but the floors are disconnecting from the walls and sloping in because the support beams under them are falling over. Two of the bedrooms are completely unusable, so my mother and brother have resorted to living on the front porch which has been closed in. My Dads room is starting to fall as well. Mom stuffs the holes with whatever she can find just to keep the outside from coming in. My dad has put large peices of ply wood over holes and dangerous parts of the floor just to allow us to walk from one room into another.  Because the other bedrooms are unusable I have to sleep in the living room, and my son shares a room with my mom.

Our bathroom is almost unusable. You can see that the floor is bowing up and the bathtub is starting to come apart. There is a plumbing problem and holes in the roof that have caused a lot of damage to the house. My dad works three jobs just to make ends meet, and most months he barely has enough left over to buy groceries, let alone put money away to fix the house.

I have spoken to a contracter and he said that the house IS fixable. But we just cant afford the repairs. It would be 4 years before my father could afford to fix anything on his income. My parents have asked and asked for help, and people have given them empty promises. No one has ever come through for them.

If you could please help us, there wouldn't be words to express our gratitude. At the very least I would like to be able to get our floors fixed so my son can learn to walk on an even floor. Fixing the floors, the roof, and the bathroom are a priority. We have no where else to go. This is our home, and we need help. If you arnt able to donate, God Bless you for atleast reading this far.
