Kate Williams Grabau Wellness Fund

Hello friends! My name is Laura Wild and I am raising funds for my dear friend Kate Williams Grabau. Kate underwent surgery on September 21st and won't be able to work for almost a month.  I met Kate on my first day of college, but as a kid, Kate was diagnosed with two autoimmune disorders. Dermatomyositis at age 11 and Rhematoid Arthritis at age 14. Kate is a seriously cheerful person, and always has been very active in rasing awareness for chronic pain illnesses and juvenile RA. She lives life to the fullest, even if it hurts. In the past month, Kate has been in extreme pain and was diagnosed with a litany of new maladies. Endometriosis, a cystic ovary, a malfunctioning liver and degenerative disc disease to name a few. Treatment and surgery are obviously expensive and in addition to the ongoing financial hardship of living with two autoimmune disorders for the past 22 years, my friend needs a break and a little help.
The money raised will offset the cost of her recent procedure and will allow Kate to recover with a little peace of mind until she is able to return to work. She has been such a huge part of my and countless lives, and I know I am a better person for knowing her. Any amount you can give would be so appreciated by me, Kate and her family. Thank you so much!
