Climbathon 2016
Donation protected
Welcome to the Gurkha Welfare Trust Jersey Climbathon 2016.
You are invited to join us by climbing Mont Orgueil Castle, Gorey to raise money for a new school to be built in Shree Adarshar School.
Gurkha Welfare Trust Jersey (GWTJ) was established in late 2014 to raise funds specifically to build infrastructure projects for Gurkha villages in Nepal, for example schools and medical centres. GWTJ has raised over £100,000 since its inception and a further £48,000 in matched funding from the Jersey Overseas Aid Commission (JOAC). GWTJ also work alongside the JOAC which help build the various centres in Nepals' villages. All funds go directly to the Gurkhas as all those who work for GWTJ are volunteers.
If you would not like to take part in the event, but still donate, please do so through this GoFundMe page.
