Over three years ago, Kevin was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy and then, later, trigeminal neuralgia.   He has been dealing with the symptoms of constant pain and blurred vision.  Recently, Kevin was rear ended and needed an MRI.  The MRI revealed a large inoperable tumor on his parotid gland (just forward of his left ear), with tumor growth spread to behind his left eye.  MEDICAL UPDATE:  A recent PET scan and biopsy identified the tumor as an aggressive form of sailivary gland cancer...already at Stage 4.  He begins chemotherapy today (4 October) and radiation treatments later this week. 

While there are still a lot of unknowns, what we do know is that the family needs immediate financial help.

With five children ages 7-18, this family faces many struggles and hardships, both emotionally and financially.   We don't know how long or if Kevin will continue to work.  Gail will continue home schooling and taking care of Kevin.  With minimal money coming in, I am in hopes to raise funds for my sister's family to help alleviate additional stress at this time.  Medical bills are piling up as well as their normal expenses.   Any little bit will help.
