Can you help out a disabled man ?

Hello. I started this crowdfunding page last September and five people have helped me, for which I'm very grateful, to raise $265. dollars, of a $2000. goal. But for the last four months I haven't received any more help. I live on disability and I don't have the money to aquire transportation. My government check is so small that I never have any money left over after paying rent and bills. If I had the money to buy transportation I wouldn't be asking anyone for anything. And I don't want a whole lot of money, just enough to get a car that's fairly dependable, about a $2000. dollar car, or even less if I can find a good one for less.
I hate to ask people on this website or anywhere else, but I don't have any friends that would help me, or even family that would be able to help me. I don't have anyone to help me, that's why I'm turning to this website. I have saved what I have recieved, the $265. dollars, but I can't buy a car with that.
They say that crowdfunding is a way to find people that are very kindhearted and understanding, to help anyone that desperately needs money for something that is needed, so, I ask anyone here that reads this,..could you help me please ? I have a driver's license and used to drive all over the country, when I was in my 20's and on up to when I was 56, when I hurt my back, but here I am now at 59 with a damaged backbone that has left me unable to work, and unabled to even get to church, and unabled to save enough for a car, although I can still walk.
My L5 vertebrae is totally crushed. It's not fractured, it's not cracked in many places,.it is totally crushed, into mainly small fragments. But one bone fragment is large, the only one that is large, and it's pressing into my spinal nerve, which is what the spinal cord is called just below the rib cage. Thank God, it didn't leave me paralysed, but my surgeon told me that if I were to fall again that it would definitely paralyse me from the waist down. But my doctors told me that It has stablised where it sits, and it wont cause me to be paralysed because of being stablised, or in other words sort of connected to the bone above it on the L4 vertebrae. So, thank God it will be okay, as long as I don't have a bad fall again. And I walk with a walking stick to help keep me from falling.
The money that the government gives me is so low that I'm actually listed under the poverty level, and it is just enough to pay the rent and utilities, and my co-pays on doctor visits and medicines. And the only things I pay for other than that is the internet, which is $69. dollars a month. But my laptop, which my mother bought for me, and the internet, is the only thing that brings me pleasure. It keeps me constantly studying, to find out anything that I will help increase my knowledge and to check in with a few friends. The few dollars after those things would be just enough for the gas to get to where I need to go only, and nothing more.
And I have found that no one around me here where I live will even help me get to the doctor or even to get groceries, or go to church or anything. I have been walking to get to where I need to go, but now I'm now 59 years old, and it's not easy for me to walk long distances, and I can only tote back a little at a time, because my doctor tells me not to lift over 5 pounds, or anything he said, if I can get by without lifting anything. Transportation is really very much needed for me for those reasons. And it would be so very nice to be able to go to my religious services every Sunday. I miss that very much.
I didnt know that this would work, but it did at first and that was from just a very few people that knew me on the social networks. And I really do hate to ask anymore, because it leaves me embarrassed afterwards, especially when no one helps out. I was told that this site would help me get all that I needed, but I just haven't recieved enough yet to buy a car.
And it's not like I'm asking for a whole lot, to get some kind of fancy car. Transportation is very much needed in my life. And I'm just asking for enough that I may be able to pay for a car that is dependable from the website Craigslist.com or from someone locally, if I find one, and that's it. But Craigslist has many cars for sale at the price of $2000. dollars. Surely one will be dependable.
If you can't afford to help me then please don't worry about it, for you might be like me and be disabled yourself, and poor. But for those that can help and would like to help someone in real need, I ask can you please help me reach my goal of only two thousand dollars ?
