Rhonda's Brain Surgery Expenses

Rhonda Funk is a 46 year old wife and mother of four and is a grandmother of two who has discovered this week she has a large aneurysm that needs operated on Tuesday, September 27th. The hope is to use the least evasive method to insert coils into the aneurysm, but if this does not work it could lead to a more extensive surgery on Wednesday if that option proves uneffective. She will spend the next hours in ICU and the next few days in the hospital for observation.
The Funks, who just found out Monday the 19th there was a problem, have already incurred $45,000 in initial bills, not counting the additional charges from doctors and specialists.
Money raised will be used to help cover these initial costs, (which are going to significantly increase after the surgery and stay next week). Also, the Funks have practical needs assist with any shortcomings for rent, utilities, and food to provide for their family as Rhonda and Willie miss work.
The money raised will immediately be put to use as bills pile up. Your support would be a huge blessing to the family to help take the pressure off the financial strain and help them focus on what is important....beating this aneurysm and getting Rhonda healthy!
Rhonda said, "It is overwhelming to learn I have had this condition for some time and didn't even know it! A mass infection in 2010 is believed to have sent infection to my heart which most likely broke off and settled in my brain, over the portion that controls my speech. As you know, I live to worship the Lord and to sing, so it is no surprise that the enemy would try to take out my voice. Monday I lost complete control of my speech when I had a mini stroke, which was frightening and frustrating, but made me rise up even stronger in hopes to beat this. Your financial gift gives me the best chances of getting the surgery I need to remove the aneurism and to get back to doing what I'm called to do....loving God, loving my family and leading others in worship! I cannot thank you enough for helping me and my family. It is hard to ask for help, but we know at this time, we cannot do it alone."
