This is a funding page for the support of the family of Jason Goodwin who was disgustingly hit in a one cowardly punch attack yesterday in a Mandurah pub.
*edited* Since this atrocious attack Jason has passed away. This funding will go to the family for whatever purpose they see fit following the tragic events. My condolences go to his family and friends.*
I had never met the bloke nor do I have anything to do with his family, but I am posting this on behalf of my mother who, up until recently, worked with Jason on a mining campsite.
She rang me in tears the following morning to tell me the news. When I spoke to her, she told me what a great guy he was, saying how much time this young guy of younger than my age had for her (a 60 year old lady)
Only last week when returning from her stint on the camp she was telling me of what a fantastic guy he was. For him to give her time out of his day tells me of the truth in her words. As I'm sure everyone that know him is, she is devastated.
From the news stories he was just down at the pub having a beer and a game of pool with family members. From nowhere he was COWARD punched and was in a coma for the following days until his passing.
As mentioned any money raised will go to his family.
