On April 27th, 2016, four amazing women of God  were involved in a high speed car crash which resulted in the deaths of Kayla, Christina, Brittany, and Halle and left Agnes in critical condition at Athens Regional Medical Center. These were all women of God who were not afraid to let anybody know. They will live on in our hearts and lives forever.
In times like these, the last thing families effected want to think about is their financial costs. This page is set up to show how truly united we are as a school and community to help raise money for the funeral costs and medical bills involved with this tragic accident.

Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated!

Agnes Kim of Snellville, who was driving the Toyota Camry that contained the UGA students, remained in critical condition at Athens Regional Medical Center as of late Thursday morning. The driver of the other car involved in the crash was also injured and sent to the hospital.

Kayla Canedo enjoyed helping others, according to those close to her. She was a loved University of Georgia student by family, friends and co-workers.Canedo, 19, was a sophomore pursuing a major in psychology at UGA. An active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Canedo was also the vice president of chapter relations and standards chair on the executive board of the UGA chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. Canedo was involved with the YMCA, where she worked as a counselor at Camp High Harbor at Lake Allatoona. She was prepared to work at the overnight camp again this summer with Brittany Feldman, another victim of the car accident, as she had done for the past four summers.

Brittany Feldman was an involved University of Georgia student that her friends considered optimistic and ambitious. Feldman was 20, from Alpharetta and graduated from Milton High School in 2014. She is succeeded by her mother, Dawn Maier Feldman, her father, Blayne Feldman, and older brother, Shaun Feldman, a Georgia Southern University student. Feldman was a sophomore studying human development and family sciences, and during her time at UGA was in the Student Government Association, UGA Heroes and Pi Beta Phi.

Canedo, who also passed away in the accident, and Feldman were inseparable. The two grew up together in Alpharetta. Feldman’s Facebook cover photo features herself and Canedo as toddlers. The two were roommates their freshman year, where they met the other two girls who passed away on April 27, Christina Semeria and Halle Scott. Their Resident Assistant was Agnes Kim who is in critical condition at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Halle Grace Scott, 19 years of Dunwoody and a sophomore at the University of Georgia, died on the evening of April 27, 2016 from injuries sustained in a tragic auto accident. She is survived by her loving parents, Stephen and Valerie Scott; older brother, William Sullivan Scott; grandmothers, Grace Feckoury and Darleene Scott; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. Halle was an excellent student at UGA and was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. She was an active member of Dunwoody United Methodist Church, having been baptized, confirmed and served on mission trips both local and abroad. Halle was a part of the graduating class of 2014 from Dunwoody High School where she participated in cheer leading, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and National Honor Society. She also served with various charities through her membership with National Charity League, Dunwoody. Halle had an infectious smile that would light up any room and was a welcoming person who was kind and had a gracious spirit. We are grateful for her time on earth and the joy she gave us. She will be greatly missed. Flowers are being accepted but those who wish to make donations in Halle's memory can do so to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or UGA Heros at www.ugaheros.org. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 5:00pm in the sanctuary at Dunwoody United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor.

Christina Semeria was a sister, friend, musician, passionate christian and the source of joy and inspiration to many at the University of Georgia and elsewhere. “Christina was a free spirit, she lived for our lord and was not afraid to let you know, whether it be through a poetic Instagram post, or a brilliantly written song,” said Courtney White, the president of the UGA chapter of Alpha Chi Omega during a memorial at Tate Plaza on Thursday. “She shined a light into this world like no other person could. Her smile will be missed, her sweet music will be missed, her drive and dedication to bring others to our lord will be missed. She will leave a lasting influence on my life and countless others.”
