Mario's Jr NATL LEADERS CONFERENCE

My name is Lucretia Etheridge, and I am the mother of Mario Etheridge. My son was nominated to attend the Junior National Leadership Conference in Washington, DC. Mario is a 7th grader who attends Plaza Middle School in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he is a member of the track team and excels academically and for that reason he was selected for this opportunity. I am a single mother and cannot afford to pay the tuition for the conference. His father does not play an active role in his life. Mario could be doing a lot of things but he has a good head on his shoulders. Mario is a great kid that is always positive, loves God and always leaves an unforgettable impression on whomever he’s around. It breaks my heart to know that the only reason he wouldn’t be able to attend is the fact that I cannot afford to pay for it. The money will be used for the tuition and his stay and any expenses needed to get him there. We need the money as soon as possible because its filling up fast and he could miss out due to it being filled on a first come first serve basis. The money was suppose to be turned in no later than April 30, 2015 but they have giving me more time. They said as long as we come up with the money by the time the session starts and there is still a slot available he will be able to go. I am asking my community, my family and the world if you would be so kind to help my son raise the money to attend this great opportunity.
