Where do we start? Lucas was born on February 11, 1992, and was taken away at the age of 24. He was genuine, kind-hearted, joyful, fun-loving, compassionate, and Christ-like. The list could go on and on about this beautiful and precious soul. Lucas lived his life in such a way that challenges us all to LIVE out our life with the same genuine faith. He served the poor and needy with an intensity to love and he also lived in a community that prepetuated this servant-heart lifestyle. He did this while attending Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA, where he was loved by many faculty and peers. He was known for his compassionate loving heart to all. He didn't care where you came from, what you looked like, who your friends were, or your background. He saw the world through Jesus' eyes and we pray many lives will continue to be challenged by this pure love.

The loss of Lucas Makana Riley leaves many in extreme grievance, but we find comfort in knowing he is dancing and smiling in Heaven. He leaves behind a loving fiance, who he was to marry on October 10, 2016. He also leaves behind his mother, father, brother, and sister. We are deeply saddened by this tragic accident. We will continue to celebrate his life and legacy.

The funds raised in this campaign will be used to cover Lucas Makana Riley's funeral expenses.
