Meet The Mazel Tov Kocktail Hour

We are Mazel Tov Kocktail Hour, a fine klezmer band in Austin, Texas.  We have an amazing opportunity to work with our mentor and klezmer expert, Sherry Mayrent, to produce our first studio album. We have been working many years to learn the language of klezmer and are ready to set it down. This will be an exciting new offering in the klezmer world, one that honors the traditional playing and vintage recording techniques of pre-war klezmer. This recording will help us to spread klezmer to the world, through musicological presentations to   wedding performances  to marching band festivals.
