Mt. Holly Cemetery Restoration
Donation protected
My name is Claire Marratt. I grew up in the Downtown Hisotrical District of Little Rock, AR, visiting Mt. Holly Cemetery nearly every weekend with my parent. Recently, vandals have destroyed nearly $300,000 worth of damage, including shredded both the American and Arkansas flag, ripping out iron crosses that marked Civil War soldiers' graves, and defacing two children's graves by pushing over the statues of the sisters buried there. These are not all the damages left by these heartless people.
I don't have a definite time that this money is needed, but I'd hope to be able to give it to the cemetry as soon as possible. Places like Mt. Holly need to be preserved and cared for, as well as respected, and I cannot express how deeply my gratitude for anyone willing to contribute will be. Every small donation makes a difference in restoring these pieces back to as much of their original condition as they can be.
Thank you so much for your time and contributions.
