Basement Transmissions FUNdraiser!

Basement Transmissions has been a cornerstone of the the Erie area art and music scene since 1998. BT has established a reputation for providing quality shows and exhibitions for musicians and artists throughout the region. Over the years BT has put on upwards of 1000 shows and exhibitions, released over 25 cds, records and cassettes. We have done all we can to help as many people succeed in the arts as possible and in September of 2011, we opened our doors to the public in a small location on State Street. We had countless punk, metal, hardcore, electronic, hip hop, and rock shows there and earned a reputation as Erie’s premiere all ages venue. In 2014, we purchased the historic Roadhouse Theatre building located at 145 West 11th Street and since that time we have continued our support to local scene and the new larger and much improved space has allowed us to begin bringing larger national touring acts to the Erie community. We also now provide practice spaces to bands as well as lessons to young musicians. We house a church on Sundays called “The Cross” and give many struggling artists and musicians a positive and productive environment. We are very proud of all that we have done and are doing, but there is an extremely large amount of overhead cost to run a large venue like this. We have huge expenses, taxes, and incur all sorts of expensive problems within the building! We need your help!
