PARAPLEGIC single mom needs help

I became the victim of an extremely violent crime in 2011. I was left paralyzed after being shot 4 times, one of which severed my spinal cord.

I have learned how to raise my children, now 8 and 9, from the confines of a wheelchair, all by myself.

We have overcome many obstacles - TOGETHER as a FAMILY!

I've learned to drive in order to keep my children involved in different activities. I feel that if they are involved in activities outside of our home, they would remember the burden of helping me less. I want my children to live as average a life as possible. We had been blessed with a car that was donated to us in the summer of 2015. The car took us to many practices, games and recitals.

In mid-September, my son and I were in a bad car accident. It is going to cost $1800 to repair a car that was only worth $1100. Unfortunately, I was advised to NOT obtain collision coverage on my car due to the age of the car.

As much of a blessing our 93 Ford Taurus was, a larger vehicle would absolutely benefit us so much more.

I'm only looking for help to buy a used smaller SUV or mini van, in good condition.   It is easier for my children to help put my wheelchair in when they don't have to take it apart.  One that I can count on to transport my family to all of our different activities and important doctor appointments.
