Feeding Program in the Philippines

Having to have experienced poverty myself while living in the Philippines, I can truly say how lucky I am right now to have clothes to wear, a roof over my head, free education and as well as food to satisfy my hunger. I have witnessed children digging through trash cans for scraps of food, begging for money and involving in child labor just to meet their basic necessities.

A lot of us take a gulp of clean water for granted. Throw a half bitten fruit to trash, meanwhile across the globe, people cannot afford to even buy an apple. In a 3rd world country like the Philippines, there are children who do not have access to clean drinking water, nutritious meals and electricity. This is the cause of 3 million deaths of innocent children per year.

It’s time to give back to those in need and I wouldn’t be able to do this without anyone’s help. I saved up for this charity event however it is insufficient.  I will be going to 3 remote provinces in the Philippines 2nd week of January 2017, to conduct a feeding program as well as give school supplies to children. The money that I will receive will be used to buy school supplies and food for the needy. I am very much open to school supplies donation as this will be a tremendous help to my campaign.
