Leo's Big Surgery

Hi Everyone,
My dog Leo has struggled with back leg problems his whole life. As he has gotten older they have gotten much more severe, Leo now has grade 4 luxating patellas which means his knee caps are out of socket and fused to the outside of his leg. Because of him having this issue, he also now has a crutiate tear in his right leg. He is currently walking on three legs and the doctor gave me an estimate of 6 weeks before his left ACL also tears due to his kneecaps being out of place. I have seen many doctors, and with the severity of leos conditions, surgery is the only option. I found a specialist that can fix leo with a bilateral TPLO/Patella surgery (including placing a bone plate in his femur) giving him an amazing rest of his life enjoying everything that he was once able to do. Without these two surgeries the doctor gave Leo approximately a year to live before I would have to put him down due to his extreme pain and the inability to walk. I rescued Leo when he was about 6 weeks old and being only 4 years old now I couldn't even begin to imagine his life ending at age 5 . He taught me what unconditional love is and I cant put into words what an amazing companion he is. His little brother Biggie dreams of being able to race him again on the beach and I'm going to do everything I can to make that happen, but unfortunately I cant do it alone, I need help. So absolutely anything is appreciated so much, Thank you all!
The estimate for his first leg is 4,500$ and his second will be about the same plus recovery costs. The first surgery is tentatively planned for the second week in November but I will need to have the payment at that time. The second surgery will be 8 weeks after the first.
If I somehow exceed my goal I will donate that money to my local Ventura County Animal Shelter.
