Carolyn's Medical Fund

Hello, my name is Carolyn McCaskill and I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2007. The purpose of this Fundraiser is to provide financial support for me to receive cutting edge treatments that have helped many improve the devastating effect of this disease and improve their quality of life.

Since I was diagnosed with MS, I have been strong and advocated for myself in my quest for healing. I've sought various Comprehensive Alternative Medicine (CAM) and considered conventional drug therapies. Unfortunately, the conventional drug therapies aim has been to slow the progression of the disease. However, many of the side effects have the potential to produce other ailments in addition to MS. I have prayed for healing and believe strongly that I will be healed. It is my belief that faith without works doesn't work; therefore I began my research shortly after my diagnosis on natural remedies and best practices in the medical field for dealing with the disease. Fortunately in my recent research, I was blessed to run across a new treatment. This treatment is done through the extraction of stem cells. Patients are required to submit an application and be approved to participate. I was recently accepted to a very exclusive stem cell treatment program in California. Based on their record and reviews, I am optimistic that the treatment can help improve my quality of life. Unfortunately, the treatment is expensive. The cost to receive this treatment is $15,000 and is not covered by my health insurance. I ask that you join me in this fight both in prayer for healing and financial support.
