Cookie's fund for her medical care

My wife Dominga and myself adoped Cookie from a rescue shelter about 3 1/2 years go. She had been abused and abandoned. Soon after we got Cookie she had violent seizures, up to 4 a day. It was determined that she has epilepsy and will be on medication for the rest of her life. Recently she had 3 bouts with diarrhea. The last time she also had extreme vomiting and she was in vet hospitals for 4 days and 3 nights, at two different vet hospitals. As you can inagine the vet bills were staggering. It was determined that she now has gall bladder disease and will be on another medication for the rest of her life. In the spring Cookie also had an operation to remove a lump. My wife and I live on Social Security. We love Cookie with all of our heart and want to continue to give her the care that she needs. So far this year it has been more costly than our budget can take.

We are asking for help from anyone that is willing to see that Cookie will continue to be with us and that she gets the care that she needs. Cookie is the sweetest beagle and is loved by anyone that meets her. She thrives on attention and she deserves to get back the love that she shows to everyone.
