Hello, My name is Teresa Apodaca, I like you to meet my grandson Angel Salinas. He is 13 years old, Is in the 8th grade at Lynn Middle School in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He has 2 sisters, Savannah and Delilah.
Angel has had the honor to be invited to the Presidental Inauguration this January 20, 2017.
His adventure to the invitation started 2 years ago. When one of his teacher's at Lynn Middle School summited his name for a program called Envision program for STEM. He was then invited to attend a week long school for STEM during the summer of 2015.
He went to Boston,Mass., and had a great learning experience, and loved every minute of his time in Boston. This program invites Middle School students that have attended their program, every 4 years to attend the Inauguration. Angel was one of the lucky ones to recieve an invitation.
I'm am trying to help his parents in raising money to send Angel to Washington. We would like for him to attend this once in a life time honor, and opportunity. His parents are both working very hard to get the money to send him. I want to help them in anyway I can.
We are trying to raise 4,000 dollars, so he can attend all the different outing, gathings, and adventures this opportunity offers. He has to pay for his flight , room, and meals, while there. I know they will be attending a gala event. Have special seating at the Inauguation. So Please any little bit will be greatly appreciated.
We are trying to reach our goal by November 20, 2016.
