Officer Lesley Zerebny Memorial

Today we mourn the loss of one of our academy classmate's wife, who along with us served as a police officer with the Palm Springs Police Department. This go fund me account is to help support to our brother in blue and his family as they go through this hard time.

Zack, I think I speak for all of class 192 when I say we are here for you. Whatever you need you can call upon us. You are not alone. Our hearts ache along with yours and our prayers are with you and your family. 

Below is a synopsis of the tragedy that occurred today:

Police Officer Lesley Zerebny was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call in the city of Palm Springs.

She along with other officers had arrived at the scene and were at the front door when the subject inside opened fire, fatally wounding Officer Zerebny. 

Officer Zerebny had served with the Palm Springs Police Department for 18 months. She is survived by her 4-month-old child and her husband.
