Dakarai Masunungure Funeral Fund

Dakarai Masunungure was many things. He was kind, and thoughtful, but above all he was someone who loved and lived for others. He brought a vibrance to the lives of those he touched, whether it be through his hearty booming laugh or the way he knew just what to say when someone was having a bad day.

But to truly know who Dakarai was, we need to look no further than those he knew.

"Dak was the kind of person that made you strive to be a better person and more than that, he was the kind of person who had the innate ability to make you a happier person."
-Jacob Rich

"I'll miss your infectious smile and your personality that radiated through everyone you met. RIP Dakarai - Love you so much - Forever our Cassius Clay - 'Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee'."
-John Barret

"You were my voice of reason on the weekends and inspired me to be a better person everyday. The world truly lost one of its best."
-Kevin Kasun

"Your positive energy will be a part of me forever. Rest in peace my brother, I cannot wait to hear your laugh again someday."
-Sohum Mansukani

"Dakarai was one of my first friends at BA, in Narnia (so so long ago). I thought he was the coolest guy and I was lucky he was my friend. Later, in middle or high school, Dak was the first person to call me Saf (he thought I needed a nickname)."
-Safeeyah Quereshi

"Though our friendship was short-lived, Dakarai was one of the most selfless people I've had the pleasure of knowing at the University of Wisconsin... He had an infectious laugh and a personality that uplifted anyone in the room. Though he left far too soon, his legacy will continue in all of us."
-William Hoverman

"I know you'll always be watching over us."
-Tyler Frowirth
