Farm Gal Needs Help
Donation protected
My name is Maggie and I am 60 years old. I live on a rented farm in Arizona with a few chickens, 2 dogs, a cat, and a sweet older horse. I have mostly retired from my job of training horses because I'm getting older and it's getting harder.
I would like to find some help to keep things going this year. It's for myself, my animals and hopefully my future.
It's been a cold winter here in this house. I'd like to own a water heater. My income is only Social Security and we got no raise this year even though everything costs more.
I just inherited a nice old Dodge truck, it's the first vehicle I've had in 4 years. It really needs new tires, with new tires I think this old truck will last the rest of my life.
I would like to plant a bigger garden this year, I am good at growing things and love to make fresh salsa. If I could grow enough I could sell some maybe.
I plan to take my new old Dodge truck around to yard sales and tack auctions and use my love of horse gear and old saddles to try and make more money. I also need new glasses and some dentures so I can see better and look better.
I didn't make a lot of plans for my retirement when I was a cowgirl everyday, but I've had a good life mostly. If you can help, I would be obliged and grateful. God Bless, and thank you.
