Dad In ICU Mom Has Cancer Foreclose

My parents Sonny & Judy West are in dire need of financial assistance. Both of them are fighting cancer.

My dad has a Tracheotomy and recently transferred to a rehab facility. There are steep co-pays right around the corner for his care. Insurance covers only first 60 days.

My parents attempted to settle on the foreclosure on their home, but was declined. The full amount owed is all that will be accepted. My parents are being charged a $1,600 penalty each month besides the $1,100 mortgage. That is $2,700 a month being added to total amount due.

My dad isn't even getting the Best care available because my parents financial status. Dads in a state run facility. He's not receiving the proper care he desperately deserves

My mom has an upcoming surgery for her breast cancer.

If you are able to contribute to this Gofundme campaign, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm asking to please help my parents.

This is the most difficult struggle, worry and concern we as a family have ever dealt with. To witness the stress from them regarding the cancer and thought of losing their home brings me to tears.

There have been three extensions granted toward the foreclosure on my parents home, thanks to the assistance of Veterans Affairs. Due to my dad serving in the Air Force. The mortgage company will only accept the full amount owed, not a penny less. The full amount owed was very close to being reached with the help of the Gofundme campaign.

However, a $1,600 penalty is being added each month along with the mortgage, which I believe is $1,100. That is $2,700 being added each month the full amount is not settled. The final extension was granted til June. I do not have an exact date in June as of yet. My family has documented proof of everything stated above.

Update after First Goal was reached in December: 
My family are in joyous tears from all the love and support that's poured into this campaign. The lost hope my parents had is now restored. We are so thankful.   All of you have taken a part in saving my parents home. However, there are still lawyer fees, late penalties, etc.   I'm asking for a little more help, so my parents aren't broke while both battling cancer. Again, thank you so very much and God bless each and every one of you!!!

I know my dad loved Elvis like a brother and would have taken a bullet for him at any given time.   Our family lived at Graceland and had some amazing memories while being there.   It breaks my heart to see my parents stress so much over finances while both fighting for their lives!
