Help 3 JC Cats w/ Feline Leukemia

Meet Molly, Skeeter, and Mia.  Each are (FeLv)Feline Leukemia Positive. They have been outside in the streets of Jersey City for years and were suffering greatly from a variety of issues. The winters were starting to take their toll. Regardless of a few make shift shelters, these 3 always looked unhappy and freezing. Even with a steady supply of food, they never gained any weight and always had one kind of issue or another. I tried to get them placed in a sanctuary that are more experienced with felv, but had no luck. With no real options, I decided to bring them home as to stem their suffering and give them a comfortable, stable place to live out their lives. Since they have been with me, they have shown some improvement. They have been de-wormed, and their infections treated. But a good deal of further Vet care is needed.

At the moment, all 3 are stable but still severely under weight. Skeeter has lacerations to both his front and rear legs. It looks like something attacked him.  Both Molly and Mia have breathing issues which I would like to get further looked at. Also, molly has a good deal of bowel distress that needs to be treated and Skeeter needs Dental Work. His gums are inflamed and he eats drastically to one side.

There are a host of costs involved with the recovery and care of these 3.. I have spent about $1500 to date. But to go on from here, outside help is greatly needed.

Those who know me, know the work I have done for disadvantaged cats. I only take in cats who are in desperate situations. Most go back to their colonies once they have recovered, but these 3 are in a situation where they can't go back.

As of today, I have 14 cats that were rescued from detrimental circumstances. All live very well in a clean and stable environment where each one gets the individual care they need. I guess at this point you can call my home a mini sanctuary ;)

I only ask for outside help when it's needed, and 100% of each dollar given will go directly to the cats in my care.
