The children of the La Crescent-Hokah School District need your help.  The district is currently facing a $500,000 budget shortfall.  After multiple consecutive years of cuts, additional cuts for the 2017-2018 school year would have numerous negative ramifications.  At this time, the Board of Education is considering taking $200,000 from a rapidly diminishing general fund balance and making $300,000 in cuts to cover the $500,000 shortfall.  Here's where you can help!  The District 300 Foundation is attempting to raise $300,000 in funds to eliminate or minimize the need for cuts during the 2017-2018 school year.  300 for 300!  This fundraising effort is a one-time push to raise operating funds for a single year.  Please help us unite around a common goal of supporting the children of the La Crescent-Hokah School District!
