My name is Tim. They call me Shaggy. I use my car for community service. There is a life-size Scooby in the passenger seat. I have a Facebook page called"Points of lights. It is a page which is for kids, documenting all of our adventures. I find the car makes people smile and feel good. I call it a therapy car, my motto"Raising Spirits", much like the spooky spirits in the cartoon. I have driven from Los Angeles to many of our countries mass shootings. Seal Beach, Newtown, Conn., Aurora, Colo, Orlando pulse nightclub, Charleston, S.c, church shooting, and Dallas, where five police officers were killed. We also drove to the Joplin, Missouri Tornado, as well as the Moore, O. K. Tornado. We drove to Prescott, Arizona to help when 19 firemen died. We went to New York City to visit 911 memorial. We drove to Atlanta and Nashville to be a part of the building of The Gold Star families, to build a new war memorial. We do car shows all year long to benefit children's charities. We visit schools and children's hospitals. And, daily, we bring smiles to thousands. Well, the dynamics are changing. I have aids, have had for 29 years, I was given just six months to live, 29 years ago. Well, I have now a skin cancer on my face and nose. My immune system isn't very strong. So, I have that going on, plus, I had to take out a $500 loan on my car to pay court fines. I didn't want to, but I don't have strength to fight cancer, and city Hall. Well, I was delivering pizzas, but haven't worked in ,five weeks due to cancer, and with it being so cold out. So, now, my car is in hock, I don't have my rent, utilities are over due. I'm supposed to have two surgeries, one, a week from today, the next, Feb 12. I don't want to do the surgeries. I feel I'm I'll enough, and may not recover. This on top of all the bills and lack of hope, has got me feeling that it's really not worth the fight. I'll be up another two months, no work, more bills. I don't want to loose such a special car for just$500, then who will own it, will they use it in its intended, giving spirit so. It's pretty overwhelming. I am humbly asking for $2,500 to pay to get car back and keep up on bills for next couple of months. My spirits are low, can't see a way out, don't really want to go on, however, if I could get these things paid, it would certainly take away a lot of stress, allowing me to concentrate on my health. Thank you, Tim and Scooby.
