Calvin Maupin-Rickman was an outdoors enthusiast. Today, we are honoring his life by requesting donations to a cause that we all know Calvin loved. Youth hunting in Colorado.
Calvin had a beautiful serenity when he was in the woods, on a mountain or fly fishing in a river. He had a deep connection with nature and with the circle of life. He was raised respecting nature and carried that throughout his life.
Calvin loved to hunt! He hunted buffalo, elk, deer, wild boar, turkey... He respected the animals he hunted. He respected the grounds he hunted on. He honored the act of hunting.
Today we are honoring Calvin's life by forwarding all proceeds donated from this gofundme to Colorado Parks and Wildlife Youth Hunting Program. This youth program teaches young hunters about safety, how to track animals, ethics of hunting, conservation, and outdoor training.
Calvin was very passionate about hunting the right way. This will allow Calvin's passion to be seeded into countless youth all over Colorado to ensure this wonderful passion continues.
