Fire Destroys Rowan Phi Psi's House
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Elisa Obedoza and I started this page on behalf of those affected by the fire of the Phi Kappa Psi house at Rowan University in the early hours of May 16, 2017. Fortunately, neighbors woke us up to inform us of the fire and we were all able to escape without harm, however, all belongings in and around the house have been lost.
The New Jersey Epsilon Housing Corporation is the beneficiary of this page as they will be dispersing the funds to all parties involved in the fire. Below is a statement from the Treasurer expressing their gratitude and goals for the fund:
Brothers and loved ones,
On the morning of May 16, 2017, a fire engulfed the longtime house of the New Jersey Epsilon Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi at Rowan University.
The New Jersey Epsilon Housing Corporation will be establishing a fund to assist the Chapter and those involved in rebuilding after this tragedy. The personal needs of those directly affected by the fire will first be addressed with this funding and we appreciate the support that has been provided thus far. After the personal needs are addressed, the funds from this page will be used to replace valuable ceremonial items and to provide funds for housing and furnishing costs required in finding a new home for the Chapter.
Donations can also be made to the Housing Corporation directly via Venmo, Paypal, or direct check. The information to make those donations is below:
Venmo: njecorp
Paypal: [email redacted]
Check: Make payable to “NJ Epsilon Corp” and email me directly at [email redacted] to get the address.
On behalf of all of the Brothers of the New Jersey Epsilon Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi, Elisa Obedoza and the Brothers that were directly affected, we thank you for your generosity and everlasting loyalty.
Amici,
