7 MIN SHORT FILM

My name is Yemisi Yekini. I am in my final year at DMU studying Film Studies. Being honest, I never really paid much attention to my course because I felt like I didn't need to. I enjoyed watching films but I never felt like I fitted in with the rest of my class. In my final year, I have chosen to make a 7min film that I intend to submit to a variety of festivals as well as save my grade and pass with flying colours. My short film is about a girl called 'Delilah'. Delilah is a tragic, short drama based on the life of a young lady with a troubled past, filled with promiscuity and bad decisions. She's trying to move on and leave her bad reputation in the past by being in a committed relationship with a loving partner, who is unaware of her complicated past. However, based on circumstances out of her hands, her past is brought to light, which sends her life into turmoil. After her life is put in immediate danger, she seeks for help at a local church. In order for me to make a great film, that can allow me to pass my course with flying colours I want to get the best crew and actors. I want to, at least, be able to help pay for their food and travel expenses as a thank you for them taking time to help me with this project. I would appreciate any donations, greatly, this way, I can make up for my lost years and make the best film possible that will not only get me a great grade, but will help propel my career.
