Chris Quirk's Cancer Journey Ends
Donation protected
Our Captain Chris Quirk was the director of our very small and private high school in Easton, CT. He was diagnosed with colorectal cancer as part of an annual physical 2 years ago. He has gone thru very aggressive chemo and has had a long journey, while trying to stay alive to watch his young son, Henri grow and to be with his grown kids, Colin and Courtney and his wonderful wife, Sue. Never has a high school director been so loved, or had so much to offer his students and his friends. Always with a quick warm smile, even while sick and in treatment, and always giving the biggest bear hugs. Even as he was going thru the horror of chemo, he worked as he could, as it energized him and gave him some income to help with the bills.
Chris passed away yesterday, Dec 20, 2015. As he was in chemo for 2 yrs, his medical bills have become astronomical, and the family desperately needs help to pay co-pays and keep up. His time to walk on has come, but his family will benefit so greatly to have some of the burden of the huge bills paid, with your generous donation. We ask that even if you cannot donate, to please share this page and please, most importantly, for the fundraiser, leave "HUGS" here on this page. The more coments, the greater exposure. Chris did all he could, above and beyond for everyone he came in contact with. Please help him, now. Show some love for this man who will leave a huge imprint on many hearts and souls, for the rest of our lives.
My son, Liam Sheehan graduated two yrs early from the high school in Easton, CT, that Chris was the director of, until he became sick with cancer.
My relationship to Chris Quirk is that he was a man who thru loving concern for his students, became a father figure to my son. He left the school with many students having grown tremendously and having felt a strong sense of sadness that he had become ill. His wife (Sue Belanger) is left, now that Chris has passed into his next journey yesterday a tremendous amount of medical bills that she will have to pay for. We created this fundraiser in hopes of raising funds, at Chris's brother's request to aleviate some of the financial burden, of these med bills.
Sue has acepted the request for funds to be directly deposited into her bank account, so she can start paying bills immediately. Chris Quirk facebook page with condolences coming in
