Help From Med Expenses

Like many, unexpected medical expenses have my family drowning. My husband was diagnosed with CIDP - Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy. It came on suddenly and is the Chronic version of GBS (Guillain-Barré Syndrome). It is an autoimmune disease affecting the nervous system. Treatment protocol is monthly IViG (intravenous immunoglobulin). Unfortunately they are very expensive, not to mention very hard on the body. Treatments were billed at over $13,000 a month and he we've gone through four years of these. Our insurance has changed three times over the four years and required meeting Out of Pocket expenses twice some years. Between in network issues, the out of pocket changes and certain things just not covered it has left us paying roughly $50,000 unexpectedly. Needless to say we have been struggling to keep afloat with these medical expenses and still trying to maintain our family of four. Two beautiful kids. My daughter now 21 and son 14. We work hard to keep things going but it has tapped us out in savings and we still find it a month to month struggle to keep things going. His prognosis is good but this has left him unable to do things he could before this, and we always have to be aware of any relapse as there is no actual cure, only the IViG maintenance to allow for his body to function. I pray you feel in your heart to help out if you can.
