We are a non profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of agriculture through the first half of the 20th century. We believe that seeing steam engines operating, is as exciting for children as well as adults. Visitors to our reunion enjoy watching the saw mill in action, as well as seeing them on the hill climb. We have a tractor pull and horse pull. We believe that this is educating our future generations on what agriculture used to be. We always have the hope that we put on a good show.
We are rasing funds for our 60th annual reunion, if we want to keep this tradition alive, we have to ease the burdan of our trustees and members. There are many activities that we have planned for this sumer reunion which creates a lot of expense. Cost of electric that has increased, insurance land payments, operating supplies, belts, maintenance and grounds upkeep are large at times. There are also other cosst associated with transporting the engines to the show, fortunatley the trucking comapnies utitlized by the organization reduce rates, but it's still costly. Our admission prices are kept economical level so we don't hinder an opportunity for our guest to come to the reunion. The membership truley feels it is our job to be accessible to all people, with special pricing for veterans and children.
