Phd Funding Into Forensic Research

Hello,
I'll start with a little about me, I am Nicole and I am currently studying a masters degree at the university of Huddersfield in toxicology. Since I was 7 (yes I know a young age to be thinking about this, but there's a long back story trust me) I was fascinated with forensic science as a whole and more importantly post mortem interval- PMI. For those who don't know PMI is the measure of time after a person has sadly passed away. This information is very important in matters such as case work and trials. I am wanting to further the research into PMI and look at how different clothing may affect PMI estimation, as little research has been done in this field.
I also wish to combine my toxicology training and look at markers within the blood and other biological samples to see if this can aid in PMI estimation.
Unfortunately there is no funding for this PhD which is why I'm here.
In order to even get an interview I must raise at least £10,000 before october 2017.
I know this is morbid subject most people don't like to think about but it is still important to forensic science and well, someone has to do it right?!
Thank you for reading
Nicole
