Alyssa Stevens Fundraiser

On June 2, 2017 Alyssa Stevens from Klamath Falls, Oregon was mauled by dogs. She had to have many extensive surgeries to repair, regenerate and ultimately reconstruct a scalp from skin grafts from her abdomen and thighs. Despite non stop procedures Alyssa is back at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland Oregon. She was receiving care in nearby Ashland at a wound care clininc. The clinic did not provide adequate care for Alyssa's injuries. Earlier this week they declined to treat Alyssa any longer. Darryn, Alyssa's father immediately drove our warrior back to Doernbecher's. The staff there were shocked to discover that Alyssa was almost completely septic, and her skin grafts and entire scalp were covered with toxic bacteria. Alyssa is now back in the ICU with low blood pressure, and raging white blood cell counts. We are hopeful she will be out of ICU tonight 12/22.  A new skin graft is inevitable as the two she has previously had are all but dead. Alyssa is beyond upset, tired and more scared than ever. She will be in the hospital for Christmas. Please consider donating to Alyssa and her father Darryn once again. These procedures, the travel and expenses incurred are beyond expensive.
