Funeral costs

My beautiful mother was unfortunately taken away from us too soon and sadly we weren't prepared, which who can be?! She found out April 2018 she had breast cancer. We witnessed what a brave soul is capable of. After having a mastectomy and months of chemo she was winning the battle! All that was left was radiation. On the night of Thursday, November 1st she was in a provided taxi from the Ontario Disability Support Program to be driven to her first radiation appointment. Along the way she was in a horrible car wreck. The driver was driving recklessly in the pouring rain crashing into other vehicles, jumping curbs, running into a fire hydrant, and in the end, a parked TTC bus. My mother lost her life. She died on impact bleeding internally. She has left behind a husband of 38 years, 2 children, and 2 grandchildren who all adored her. We are struggling trying to cope with the loss and question why? how? The what ifs haunt us every day. Such a beautiful strong woman who loved with all of her being fought a good fight to only have it unfortunately end her life this way. We are trying to be strong the best way we know how. We however are struggling with not only her loss but also being able to pay for her funeral. If anyone is willing to or can please donate and help us, we appreciate it so much more then you can possibly imagine. If we can reach our goal it would mean a great deal knowing we can give her the funeral she deserves. Funerals cost so much and when something like this happens so unexpectedly the worry of being able to provide for your loved one weighs heavy on ones shoulders. If we can succeed in our goal and then some we will donate any left over to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Have a blessed day!
