Leteeshas Cancer Treatment Fund
Donation protected
Hi to all,
Thanks for visiting my Go Fund me Page and taking the time to Read and share my story and donate.
Here is a little about me!
I am Leteesha Cseri, 24, from Canada.
I was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer, in February of this year. Quite shocking if you can imagine considering my age, and that it is not hereditary. Not only that, I recently gave birth to my little girl back in 2016. Doctor’s say that should decrease the risk of developing breast cancer, however, unfortunately that isn’t the case for me.
Flashback, I was a PSW (Personal Support Worker) Student in College while working part-time and pregnant pushing to peruse a career in Nursing. I had my daughter and completed the semester. Two very short months after having her I had an emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. I was feeling severe internal pain and couldn’t even bare to breast feed or hold her.
Flash forward, while taking a well deserved bubble bath I found a massive solid lump underneath my right breast. As you can imagine as a woman that could mean two things clogged milk duct or a form of cancer, so panic set in. I immediately called my mom hysterically crying.
On receiving all the results from MRI’s, CT scans, bone density, and two biopsies, my surgeon entered her office teary eyed to tell me it was malignant and aggressive. Currently my Oncologist has me on a very aggressive treatment plan of Chemotherapy every 2 weeks, then surgery, and finally radiation.
I guess I started this Go Fund me Page because although God never fails me, and always provides. unfortuneatel, I am unable to return to work and the government has also denied me disability funds (sickness). Medications are expensive, such as my almost $3,000.00 immune system booster shot that has to be taken every 2 weeks. Bills are racking up and I pretty much rely on my own mom for everything including helping raise my daughter. I realize I am asking complete strangers for support, however, the Canadian Government and Health care system is PATHETIC for cancer patients if you are not a full time worker or student (which is currently impossible for me).
Please, Please, Please can everyone support and donate. I hope to give you all weekly updates when I can on how I am doing and regarding treatment.
My daughter needs a great life and a strong mom. So please donate whatever you can because every cent counts whether its to help pay a bill, buy my vitamins, organic groceries (because my diet is essential in recovery), buy a can of formula or hospital parking it is truly appreciated at this time. Thanks again for your time
xoxo Teesha!
